About the artist

Courtney Morgan is musician and songwriter from Syracuse, New York.

2002 - As a young kid she was gifted a karaoke machine and once she started, she never stopped. She would spend hours singing, creating skits or ideas that she would convince her cousin to perform alongside her, and would dance around the house. One of her favorite movies was Step-Up.

2012 - Around the age of twelve, someone gifted Courtney a guitar and it became her escape from the chaos. She would watch Youtube videos for hours and is a self-taught guitar player. It is the guitar that she uses today.

2015 - In high school, she started to network with local musicians in the greater Syracuse area while performing at open mics including at Funk ‘n Waffles on the hill at Syracuse University that is no longer there. She joined a band for a brief time that one of her high school teachers hosted at their home.

She became a Christian during her time in college and she quickly began to use her gift to serve the Kingdom, serving on worship teams and writing songs based on Scripture. She is currently trusting that God will provide her the opportunity to travel the world and share her music that inspires people to seek the Lord with all of their hearts with themes of justice, redemption, and hope.
